The 28092 Podcast

Ever thought about adopting?  Probably not.  We hadn't either...until we did.  There are 100's of kids across the state waiting for a permanent home.   Lots of those are in Lincoln county.  During our families time in Tennessee we adopted a son who was a teenager at the time.  In this episode he tells what his life was like  growing up before and after the adoption.  Our hopes is that It might help somebody else in a similar situation.

You could call him Lincolnton's media mogul.  Lanny Ford was a celebrated high school football player at West Lincoln and went on to play at Clemson.  Later his passion for sports led him to radio and to eventually own WLON radio.
